I am writing this on January 4, 2010. It is a very cold day here on the Camp DaySpring campus. Even though it is early January the planning, promoting and preparation for Camp DaySpring is underway. Whenever you may be reading this, know that camp is not that far away in the future, and we'll be ready when you get here.
2010 camp is going to be awesome! We have great speakers lined up. Steve Ely, former IPHC National Youth pastor, will speak at high School camp. Hansen Steck (a camp DaySpring legend?well at least in his mind) will be our Junior High speaker. Chris Williams will be back for a third year as the Junior camp speaker. Remember his message from the top of a ladder. Roger Barefoot will bring his friends Chef Pierre and Biker Spike to help him minister in the Primary camp.
We will also be using our newest ropes sensation "The Giant Swing" for the second year. Paintball, the Zip Line, the Rock Wall and Human Foosball will be back. Most of all, our campers will get an opportunity to experience Jesus. The highlight of each camp is the testimonies of student who have had any encounter with God! This year will be no different!
No matter when you read this. No matter what the weather is outside. You just need to know that camp is getting ready for you! One more thing: when camp time arrives it will be hot out there!
