Girl's Ministries

Prims.jpg
Our goal is to see the girls of the Cornerstone Conference grow in their personal relationship with Christ and with friends across the footprint of the IPHC, inviting other girls to be a part. We want to see girls love themselves and others and in doing so lift left each other up. Finally we want our girls to be active in Girls’ Ministries and as they age out of Girls’ Ministries move into Women’s Ministries.
Society tells us how we should look, how we should dress, and how we should act. As leaders we need to be intentional in training and mentoring our girls. We want each girl to know they were created with a God given purpose. Each girl has gifts, talents, and dreams that are unique to them. They need to know they can live a life for Christ and they can be a witness to those around them.

For more information contact Cornerstone Conference IPHC Girls’ Ministries Director Pam Rooker @ 252-432-7750 or pamrooker@yahoo.com.

Boy's Ministries/Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers is an activity-based, small-group church ministry for boys and young men in grades K-12 with a mission to evangelize, equip and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. We are Cross-Generational: Bringing together men and boys of all ages around activities of common interest. Royal Rangers is Hands-On: Helping boys learn & grow through active participation in a variety of fun activities.  We areChrist-Centered: Leading boys on a path to Christlike manhood through an intentional, Bible-based discipleship process. Royal Rangers is Spirit-Empowered: Connecting boys with the source of the Spirit-filled life through a unique Pentecostal experience.

The goal of the Boys Ministries / Royal Rangers Ministry is to see every church in the Cornerstone Conference maintain a healthy and discipling Royal Rangers / Boys Ministry to evangelize, equip and empower boys for Jesus Christ!

The Cornerstone Conference strives to provide such activities and training for our boys (and leaders) to fulfill Christ’s great commission to see His Kingdom grow not just in quantity but true Christian quality!  Training includes:

  • Going to the individual churches for presentations from starting an Outpost to assisting progress and initial Ranger Basics Training

  • Conference level training includes the annual adult Leadership Training Academy (LTA) and the boys’ Ranger Training Academy (RTA)

  • Camping activities include the spring Pow-wow and Fall Camp Out for the old level boys and Ranger Kids Overnighter and Field Day

  • The Ranger of the Year program involves the overall year concerning the overall boy’s progress in Rangers, church, community, family and his Christian growth

Other activities also include the annual Leonard H. Atkins Awards Banquet, Ranger Derby, various District and local level activities and one major highlight of the National Camporama held every four years.

The mission of Royal Rangers coincides with the mission of the church, as given by Christ in Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) - Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

DRUSA | Disaster Relief USA

DRUSA stands for Disaster Relief USA. The mission of DRUSA is to organize volunteer work and ministry teams who will model the compassion of Jesus to those who are impacted by natural disasters. The Church must never forget why we are involved in disaster relief. We have the opportunity to represent Jesus Christ in the midst of crisis with unconditional love and abounding grace.

DRUSA operates on certain criteria to be declared a disaster by the IPHC DRUSA manual. This is a much needed ministry and does include more than just clean-up teams. At Cornerstone, we deploy a shower trailer and there is a mobile feeding station located in the South Carolina Conference.

Anyone who would like to serve on a DRUSA Ministry team should contact the Cornerstone Conference DRUSA Specialist, Mark Richardson.

I trust your prayers will rest on DRUSA as we move forward in serving Christ by helping those in need. Matthew 25:40: And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
