East Marion Hispanic Connected With The Community

In a loving and caring display of faith and community outreach, East Marion Hispanic Church is impacting the community where the church is planted. It is, without hesitation, an impactful way to reach the community to share God’s love and His message.  

The mission of East Marion IPHC in Spanish in the area of ​​community service is to follow Jesus' example of being salt and light to the world, breaking down barriers and building educational bridges, promoting linguistic unity, health assistance as well as the importance of good habits in nutrition for children, youth, and seniors. Every action taken to meet the needy families is done within a faith-based context. 

Pastors Ricardo and Jenifer Gonzalez have developed a good group of leaders and a solid partnership with other institutions, which have allowed them to broaden services for the community. 

Jennifer said, “We have a Distribution Center on our premises, stocked with diapers, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, food, and more. Once a month, we distribute fruits, vegetables, meat, and more in our church parking lot in partnership with the YMCA of Western North Carolina. We have our own Blessing Lives health clinic with Missionary Doctors who, at the same time, are active members of the UNC Health Blue Ridge medical network. We serve vulnerable communities without health insurance and people who cannot access medications or daily treatments. We also run a Learning School in which more than 140 students are currently enrolled. We partner with McDowell Technical Community College and offer English, Spanish, GED, and computer instruction. We also have a Latino Skilled Trade Group program where we partner with businesses and companies to help members of our community secure better employment.” 

In providing services for migrants, East Marion Hispanic partners with FAITH ACTION INTERNATIONAL HOUSE to offer a Community ID Program. The document issued is endorsed and recognized in McDowell County as a form of identification. 

East Marion Hispanic is connected with the community God sent them to serve. Pastors Ricardo and Jenifer truly believe what is written in Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” NIV

IGLESIA HISPANA EAST MARION IPHC CONECTADA CON LA COMUNIDAD 

En una efectiva muestra de amor, solidaridad, fe y alcance comunitario, la Iglesia Hispana East Marion IPHC está impactando a la comunidad donde está ubicada. Es, sin duda, una manera impactante de llegar a la gente para compartir el amor de Dios y su mensaje. 

La misión de East Marion IPHC en español en el área de servicio comunitario es seguir el ejemplo de Jesús siendo sal y luz para el mundo, derribando barreras y construyendo puentes educativos, promoviendo la unidad lingüística, la asistencia en salud y la importancia de los buenos hábitos de nutrición para niños, jóvenes y adultos mayores. Toda acción que se realiza para atender a las familias necesitadas se hace dentro de un contexto de fe. 

Los pastores Ricardo y Jenifer González han formado un buen grupo de líderes y han establecido una sólida colaboración con otras instituciones, lo que les ha permitido ampliar sus radio de acción comunitaria. 

Jennifer comentó: “Contamos con un Centro de Distribución en nuestras instalaciones abastecido con pañales, artículos de higiene personal, productos de limpieza, alimentos y más. Una vez al mes en el parqueo de nuestra iglesia y en colaboración con la YMCA del Oeste de Carolina del Norte, distribuimos frutas, verduras, carne y otras cosas. Contamos con nuestra propia clínica de salud, Blessing Lives, con médicos misioneros que están activos en la red médica UNC Health Blue Ridge. Atendemos a comunidades vulnerables sin seguro médico y a personas que no pueden acceder a medicamentos o tratamientos diarios. En el área educativa dirigimos una Escuela de Aprendizaje con más de 140 estudiantes matriculados y asociados con McDowell Technical Community College ofrecemos clases de inglés, español, GED y computación. También contamos con un programa de Grupo Latino de Oficios Calificados, donde colaboramos con empresas y negocios para ayudar a los miembros de nuestra comunidad a conseguir un mejor empleo”. 

A los migrantes que lo necesiten, East Marion Hispanic está asociado con FAITH ACTION INTERNATIONAL HOUSE y ofrece un Programa de Identificación Comunitaria. El documento emitido está avalado y reconocido en el condado de McDowell como una forma de identificación. 

East Marion Hispanic está conectado con la comunidad a la que Dios los envió a servir.
