I want to inform our Cornerstone Conference family that Tennille Nichols, our Conference Ministry Center Executive Assistant, will depart Cornerstone Conference IPHC on June 7, 2025. Tennille has been integral to our Conference Ministry team for sixteen incredible years. Although we are sad to see her go, we are genuinely excited for her as she returns to nursing school and a job in nursing she has wanted to do since she was a child.
Tennille began her work at Cornerstone Conference in 2009. She has faithfully served in the same role for three Superintendents, including Bishop Tommy McGhee, Bishop Doyle Marley, and Bishop Mike Ainsworth. Her warm, cheerful demeanor and knowledgeable, proficient handling of her job's various duties and responsibilities have made her the go-to person for our staff, ministry students, ministers, and congregations. Tennille put the “pro” in the title, Administrative Professional. She has been the one person in the office who knows the answer to everything. She endeared herself to everyone through her kindness, encouragement, and genuine care. Her love for the Lord and those she has served is seen in all she does. Tennille has been a tremendous blessing to Cornerstone Conference. Our staff have expressed their love and appreciation for Tennille. Here are just a few selected statements for our staff:
Tennille is a true blessing to work alongside. Her ability to keep things on track, support her coworkers, and ensure everyone is doing well has made a lasting impact on all of us. Whether she was leading from the front or handling the behind-the-scenes work that often goes unnoticed, her dedication to the Cornerstone Conference family has never wavered. Tennille is a strong, resilient woman who has overcome many obstacles with grace and determination. I’m proud to call her my friend and pray for her as she steps into this next chapter, continuing to serve others with compassion, now as a nurse.
Tennille is very caring for others, willing to go above and beyond what is needed, always offering to help everyone else, and trustworthy.
Tennille is a tremendous blessing to Cornerstone Conference. She handles everything with such grace and makes everything run smoothly. She does it all with a smile and makes it look easy. I know she has been a part of the personal ministry journey of so many of our ministers, and she will be missed greatly! We love and appreciate her beyond measure and are sad to see her go, but so happy for her and her new adventure. Her friendship is a treasure!
Tennille has not only been an essential part of our ministry team but also a friend and a part of our family. We will treasure our time with her at Cornerstone and look forward to seeing how the Lord will use her in her new role as a nurse. She will always be part of our family.
On behalf of Cornerstone Conference, I’d like to thank Tennille for the excellent way she has served Cornerstone. We pray the Lord blesses and uses her significantly in this new season of her life.
