Thank You For Your Faithful Service to Cornerstone
After 14 years of dedicated service to Cornerstone Conference, Trisha Ainsworth has concluded her employment, having faithfully served in administrative roles involving Calendar and Event Scheduling, Rental Property Coordination, and Archives. Throughout her years of service, Trisha consistently demonstrated a servant’s heart, greatly blessing the ministry and all who had the privilege of serving alongside her.
Trisha’s work experience reflects remarkable versatility and dedication. As a teenager, she worked in manual labor positions as a weaver, operator, and loader in cotton mills and furniture manufacturing. Over the years, she also served as a bookkeeper, receptionist, teacher, school bus driver, salesperson, thrift store clerk, and business owner. For a season, she owned and operated Trisha’s Home Cleaning Service. Through her diligence and commitment, the business became so successful that she eventually had more work than she could manage alone.

Above all her professional endeavors, however, Trisha has remained deeply devoted to her family. She faithfully served as a full-time mother to her two children, Heather Ainsworth and Michael Ainsworth, supporting them through every stage of life and education. That same love and investment have continued with her five grandchildren—Addison Olivia, Mack Alexander, Beckham Grey, Peayton James, and Preston John. Her commitment to her children and grandchildren has always been one of her greatest callings and joys.
Trisha graduated from Emmanuel University in 1983 and has devoted more than 40 years to Christian ministry, faithfully providing administrative support in congregational, denominational, and academic settings. She also served for 15 years in both public and private education, primarily in elementary schools, where second grade became her favorite age group to teach, encourage, and inspire.
For more than 41 years, Trisha has faithfully served alongside her husband, Mike, in ministry. Together, they served Trinity Worship Center (Burlington, NC); Hillsborough Pentecostal Holiness Church; Franklinville Pentecostal Holiness Church; Living Word Church (Maiden) and Cornerstone Conference IPHC.
Throughout those years, her ministry involvement included Worship, Children, Student Ministries, Adult Sunday School classes, Women’s Ministry, Vacation Bible School, Camp DaySpring, and Girls’ Ministries. In every season of ministry, she invested her time, energy, and heart into helping others grow spiritually, impacting multiple generations through her faithful service.

While she will continue serving alongside her husband in the ministry assignment the Lord has given them, this chapter of employment joyfully concluded on May 14, 2026. The Cornerstone staff honored and celebrated her years of service during a special retirement luncheon on May 11, 2026.
Cornerstone Conference is deeply grateful for Trisha’s many years of faithful service. Her contributions have left a lasting impact on the ministry and the people she has served. While we rejoice with her in this new season of life and ministry, she will certainly be missed, and we pray God’s continued blessings upon her and her family in the years ahead.
