“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

As we step into May, the beauty of spring surrounds us—flowers in bloom, longer days, and the promise of summer just ahead. With school coming to a close, calendars filling up, and vacations on the horizon, life can quickly become full… and sometimes overwhelming.

Yet in every season, busy or still, joyful or stretching, one thing remains unchanged: God’s grace is steady, sufficient, and ever-present.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

It’s easy in a full season to pour into everyone else and forget to pause ourselves. But even in the midst of busy days, the Lord gently calls us to come near, to rest, and to be renewed in Him.

Consider Mary of Bethany, who chose to sit at Jesus’ feet while the world around her stayed busy. Jesus said she chose “what is better” (Luke 10:42). In a season like this, that reminder is so important; time with Him is never wasted, it is what sustains us.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

No matter where you find yourself this month, running from one thing to the next, preparing for transitions, or simply trying to keep up, remember:

  • His grace meets you there

  • His strength carries you

  • His presence refreshes you

Take a few moments each day to breathe, to pray, to sit with Him. You don’t have to do everything… because He already is everything you need.
