Run For The Wall

Run For The Wall (RFTW) 2025 has come and gone, but the lasting impact of serving those men and women who put their lives on the line for our country is immeasurable.

Multiple routes with hundreds of motorcycle riders traverse our great country from California to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., to pay honor to those who gave their lives in war.

The IPHC and Cornerstone Conference have been an integral part in serving these soldiers in many capacities. One of the stops along the way is at the Siler City Pentecostal Holiness Church, where the congregation has been serving steaks and homemade ice cream to the riders for over a decade!

John Hodges, our M25 Point Person, is thankful for the many people who contributed financially and who helped set up tents, cook food, etc. It takes an "army" to coordinate the ride, the stops, the interactions with local churches and businesses, and it is all done as a small thank you to those who still deal with pain from their military service.

Our very own Herman Strickland deserves an extra shoutout due to his faithfulness in driving the chase truck to assist when a biker goes down along the way. Herman has driven tens of thousands of miles to make sure the riders are taken care of if a breakdown happens or worse.

Let us never forget the ongoing battles our warriors face and always look for ways to invest in those who have given and still give for this country.
